Creative Age Edmonton invites you to TAKE PART in a Free Arts Workshop for Older Adults (55+)!

Creative Age Edmonton produces FEST & More during Senior’s Week each June, and is now proud to offer a series of free workshops, partnering professional artists with community agencies and arts organizations, to offer arts experiences to older adults throughout the year.

The second in this series of workshops is a Literary Storytelling Workshop, led by local writer, and Edmonton's Historian Laureate, Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail. This series will be hosted by the Multicultural Women and Seniors Services Association.

Multicultural Women and Seniors Services Association (329 Woodvale Road)

Facilitator, writer, and Edmonton Historian Laureate Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail will lead a series of five literary storytelling workshops at the Multicultural Women and Seniors Services Association. Participants will revisit and share memories around childhood, marriage, parenting, their experiences immigrating to Edmonton, building community in the city, and discuss what values hold the most meaning for them moving forward.

These stories will be gathered and published as part of a project celebrating seniors and the value of storytelling. Please join us to share your experiences and wisdom, and enjoy some delightful company!

This workshop is free for participants, but space is limited. For more information, please contact the Multicultural Women and Seniors Services Association, 780-465-2992.
