Creative Age Edmonton invites you to TAKE PART in a Free Arts Workshop for Older Adults (55+)!

 

Creative Age Edmonton produces FEST & More during Senior’s Week each June, and is now proud to offer a series of free workshops, partnering professional artists with community agencies and arts organizations, to offer arts experiences to older adults throughout the year.

 

The final series of workshops is 'Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue' a video storytelling workshop led by local filmmaker Eva Colmers. This series will be hosted by the Edmonton Public Library - Woodcroft branch.


Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue - Video Storytelling

Tuesdays from 1pm – 3pm

September 16 – October 14, 2014

Woodcroft Public Library  - 13420-114 Avenue

 

Participants in this five week session will work together to create a short film inspired by personal stories and objects, as well as the saying – Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue

 

Explore your creativity, experiment with basic filmmaking techniques, and meet new people! No previous video experience required.

 

This workshop is free for participants, but space is limited.
